1. Daylight is essential in the photo. If you take a photo in the dark, you are almost invisible. That is why it is always nice to take photos outside. We always prefer early morning (high spring sun) or late afternoon during golden hour.
2. The angle of a photo. If you want to take a picture of your entire outfit, take a few steps back so that you fit perfectly into the frame. Choose a nice background as well, so you can make a very inspiring and trendy picture. Are you wearing a T-shirt, top or blouse? Then take the picture as a 'portrait', the camera will focus on you.
3. Incidence of light. If you take a photo inside, try to position yourself so that you get the best light from outside. During our photo shoots we also take into account the incidence of light, this is different every hour!
4. Posed or loose. While taking a picture you can stand in different ways. For example, if you want to show your entire outfit, then you can stand posed but also loosely. If you're wearing a nice dress or skirt, for example, it might be more fun to do a dance in a loose way so that it can sway nicely!
5. Take multiple photos. If you are trying to take a fun picture, shoot several pictures. Then it's up to you to choose the best one. Keep the previous tips in mind, so you can choose the best photo.
6. Above all, be yourself! The important thing is that you have taken a photo that you are happy with. If you like the photo so much you can also use it as your new profile picture on WhatsApp, Facebook or Instagram.
When the photo is ready, you can post it on Instagram. Make up a fitting caption to complete your post.
