We all know the recurring trends with the holidays: a black cocktail dress, lots of glitter and, of course, the colours red and green. This year we're doing things a little differently, it's the first year we can get back together in full person for the holidays and that should be celebrated. In this article, we give you the best tips to put together the perfect outfit for the holidays.

Sets

That two-piece sets are totally in, we see them popping up everywhere from tops with matching skirts to co-ord suits. If you are ready for something new this Christmas, replace your party dress for a cool co-ord set. Think nice trousers with matching top or blazer. You can also opt for the combination of a skirt with matching top or blouse, this way you still maintain the classic silhouette of a Christmas dress. The great thing about the co-ord sets is that there is something for everyone, so you can choose the combination that suits you perfectly.

Fun colours

This season, the focus is no longer on the traditional Christmas colours, but also on nice bold colours. Everyone is happy to be able to celebrate the festive season together again in large groups, this happiness is emphasised in the outfits by using bright and striking colours. Think of colours like bright pink, red, purple and green. Combining multiple colours in one item is also common. If you choose a colourful top, combine it with a nice neutral pair of trousers. Of course, this combination can also be made the other way round.

More than your everyday dress

The next trend fits well with the popularity of bright colours and the departure from tradition. This year, of course, many dresses will be worn again for the holidays, but they will not just be black or lined with glitter. A nice dress or blouse is super fun to wear with the holidays, but can be a bit cold in the winter months. Cardigans are the trend of the autumn, this trend harks back to the y2k style; the clothing style from the 2000s that we see a lot in current fashion.
