#1 Dress-up or dress-down
With a gilet or spencer you can give your outfit a more casual feel. You put on a blouse with an eye-catching print and over that a comfortable spencer. #2 Oversized
It probably won't have escaped your notice, today's trend: oversized. It is completely hip to combine your sweaters and dresses with matching gilet and spencers. #4 To the skin
Last but not least, the gilet and spencer are also often worn without anything (with sleeves) underneath. The sleeveless look is especially popular for a night-out because it exudes sophistication and elegance. A long gilet with a deep-cut top and slacks is super feminine.
