The best way to enter your school year having fun is to join the romcomcore trend. We have been seeing this trend more and more frequently since the beginning of this year on both social media and in real life.
What is romcomcore?
According to Pinterest, which predicted this trend, romcomcore is a way of romancing your clothes. Your outfits are inspired by old (or new) romcom films or series, usually adopting the style of one of the main characters to feel the 'main character energy' in your own life. It makes daily activities feel upgraded; a day at school can then feel like a scene from your favourite film or series. That makes school a lot more fun all at once!

Lara Jean's outfits fall under the preppy style. She wears many blouses under jumpers, flowy skirts and romantic dresses. Jeans are also part of her wardrobe; she opts for a wide-fitting model and wears cute tops on top. We see many cheerful and especially pastel-coloured items.
